RE: Cant ping address from 400 to use Httpapi example18 and example19.



Yes, we have an entry for that (*dftroute), my network guy confirms.

Even so, why, on the 400, can google or scottklement be pinged
successfully
but not webservicex or its ip address...

And, why can my pc ping webservicex successfully but the 400 can't...
(this is why I program, as opposed to doing network stuff <g>)

Check if the 400 has a route to the internet.

Go CFGTCP option #2, you should have any entry like:

*DFTROUTE   *NONE  10.10.1.x   *NONE

Where 10.10.1.x is the ip address of your firewall or router to the
internet.
