Re: HTTPAPI Errors

Sender: Scott Klement <sk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

But after this I tried running the EXAMPLE18 / Ping 'www.google.com' it just goes to 'TIMW' in WRKACTJOB , situps there.

I've already explained that HTTPAPI doesn't support proxies. This sounds like it's trying to get through your firewall, but can't. It's hard to say for sure, since "TIMW" just means that it's waiting for something (which really means nothing) but based on what you've already told it, I suspect that it's trying to establish a connection, but the firewall is discarding it's packets, causing it to sit there and wait for a response that's never going to come.

Of course, HTTPAPI should time out, depending on the number of seconds you told it to wait...

Whatever I have used is the IP address and port number that windows uses to get to internet.

If PING works, and you're no longer getting the "Host Not Found" error, then you've solved the DNS problem. Now you're working with a different problem. (That's why it has different symptoms.)
