Further to Scott's request for testing:

I have downloaded 1.9 pre 5
Our system is V5R1 with latest PTF cume
All testing is with SSL

All objects compiled OK (did not test the examples, but they compiled)

Our system used the following calls without problems:
http_url_get (with our own User Agent)
Cookies processed
retrieved data with and without Chunked encoding

http_url_post with & without override to Content Type

Status call back used to monitor sent data
(*small change here: we seem to get a separate status call for last two
bytes of data sent. Don't know why yet but it doesn't affect transmission)
