Re: [Ftpapi] CCSID 1208 & yajl_ saveBuf()

Hi Scott,

Just now read your message on the searchable archive. For some bizarre reason, my email delivery was turned off on your website.

The file created on IFS is not being read by JAVA program and I thought the reason would be that the file's CCSID which is 1208. The java program can read the file if it was created on a windows machine.

Thus I mention both CCSID and yajl_saveBuf().

In QSH when I tried the following :-

1) On the file generated by yajl_saveBuf()

ls -ls /path/Userinfo_04032020.json

ls: 001-2113 Error found getting information for object path/Userinfo_04032020.json. No such path or directory.

2) On the file generated by yajl_saveBuf()

ls -ls /path/Userinfo_04032020_ORGINAL.json

                   8 -rwxrwxrwx  1 MYNAME  0                  1587 Mar  4 16:11 /path/Userinfo_04032020_ORGINAL.json

Maybe, now I am able to explain the problem?

Many Thanks,

Hi All,

I am using yajl_savebuf() to generate a json file on IFS.

This file is suppose to be read by a java program but the jar is giving an error that file not found. We tried qsh command interactively to locate the file and got no success.

I found that CCSID-1208 is hard coded in yajl for yajl_saveBuf.

Does anyone have idea how can I circumvent this issue ?

Many Thanks,
Amit
