   Hello Christian,
   Yes, you can receive into a PF with FTPAPI. Just do something like
   this:
   CRTPF FILE(MYLIB/MYFILE) RCDLEN(80) <-- or whichever record length
   you want, or use DDS, SQL, etc.
   rc = ftp_get( session: 'FILE.20130715':
   '/QSYS.LIB/MYLIB.LIB/MYFILE.FILE');

   Hi Scott
   Thanks for your answers. Yes, this is true, there are missing CRLFs.
   That means the 132length is done from EDTF.
   I have no possibility to run a get-into-PF over FTPAPI ? Because, when
   I initiate FTP from the Target-side (PC-Server) to AS400 with
   open as400
   user
   pwd
   binary
   put FILE.20130715 LIB/PFILE
   quit
   then it works correctly.
   Thanks again
   Christian

   Hi Christian,
   I think the file you're retrieving does not have end-of-line sequences
   (CRLF by default) at regular intervals. It's possible that it does
   not
   have CRLF at all? (You'd have to look.)
   The EDTF/DSPF command attempts to convert the stream file to a
   record-oriented file so it can display it on a green-screen with a
   particular record length. Trouble is, if it can't find end-of-line
   sequences, how could it know how big to make the records? So it
   assumes a default length of 132.
   This is not an FTP issue, it's just the way EDTF/DSPF works. To "fix"
   it (if it can be called "fixing") you'd need to change the data in the
   file, or use a different tool to display it.
