Hello Nick (and other interested parties):

I've added proxy tunnelling support to HTTPAPI to let SSL work through 
proxies.  I need people to help test the support:

a) I'd like to know how well it works.
b) I'd like to know which releases it works on.
c) I'd like you to help test for regression (breaking other features).
