Michael,

I haven't tried HTTPAPI on 7.3 yet.   However, I can't recall ever 
having a problem with OS compatibility with HTTPAPI.  So, I would not be 
too concerned, it works fine everywhere.

For sure there is no problem with 7.1 or 7.2.
