Javier,

I've never heard of HTTPAPI not working in a batch mode environment...

Please check the regular suspects like library list, authorities, etc, 
and make sure everything is set the same as your interactive job.  If 
that doesn't help, make an httpapi_debug.txt file, job log, etc, and 
post those here.
