Re: GSKit / Outbound source IP address changed after PTFs

My guess is that it was not a result of the PTF apply but maybe the result of an IPL.

if you have multiple IP addresses configured and the interfaces are all set to autostart(*yes) the are started in numerical order.
the "default" outbound address is the first one started.

one way around is to control the order of the starting in the startup program. all interfaces would have to be autostart(*no).

I'll assume that is the case and the "desired" outbound IP address was started second.

Over the weekend I loaded Level 11 of the SF99713(DG1) package for HTTP
    PTFs.

We have a process that utilized the HTTPAPI to go out and pickup XML
data from a remote site. After the PTF applied, the source IP used to
complete this transaction changed and I have been unable to determine
    why.

Any suggestion to where I might look? Let me know if you need any
    other specifics.

    Thanks, Brian.
