FTP_API Extened passive mode

   Hello everyone
   Hope you can help me.
   I can connect to a remote ftp server using FTP_conn. When i try to list
   a directory it hangs.
   I can however use the normal IBM FTP command and do a directory
   listing.(Looks like its going into "extented passive mode").
   I am using FTP_Passiv(*ON); just before i try to list the directory. Is
   there a extended passive mode function.
   Any ideas
