Yep, that is it and I found a page that explained a little about using it to check certs in case anyone wants to check theirs. By default it checks HTTPS but it looks like other protocols might be supported (depends on version). HTTPS should suffice for most of the cases we'd be checking for HTTPAPI but good to know that it can be used for other as well.

Are you referring to the openssl command-line tool?   This is a 
cross-platform tool, but is most commonly found on Unix.    In fact, if 
you have 5733-SC1 option 1 installed on IBM i, then you have this tool on IBM i already :-)
