Re: Is there a way...

   Hi Danny,
Like Mike Krebs said, it really depends on the file system you are
   interacting with.
For example, on IBM i, the /QOpenSys/ area of the IFS is
case-sensitive... so if you are doing a 'get' into that area (or a put
to another IBM i in that area) then your filenames will be
case-sensitive. Otherwise, they will not be.
Likewise, if you are doing a put to a Unix server, the filenames will
be case sensitive, because that's the way Unix works. On the other
hand, if putting to a Windows server, they will not be, because Windows
   isn't case sensitive.
So, this isn't really a property of FTPAPI (or FTP at all), it's really
a property of the file system (the method of disk access) that you are
   reading/writing the file from/to.
   hope that helps...

   Hi Scott,

Is there a way to make FTP on the i to be insensitive to case for
   filename extensions.

My script looks for XXXXXXX.TXT, sometimes they come in as XXXXXX.txt
is there a switch I can flip

to make it non-bigoted toward lower case extensions?
