Thanks much for the response.  Somehow I missed that part about the functions library.

I took example14 and got it to work for tracking.  My next goal is to put something together that can do some rating.

It looks like you are using some code from iprodeveloper. In the article, Duncan says something like "I have these functions in a code library at work (for brevity's sake, I won't include the details in this article)." Well, those are the things missing. If you write Duncan privately, maybe he will share that library.

The UPS web services have been directly usable with HTTPAPI and EXAMPLE14 shows how to track a package. You could use that as a jumping off point along with the general flow from Duncan's example.

I'm trying to create an example program that utilizes the UPS web service. The compilation fails with the following errors. I imagine I am just missing a set of tools (hopefully).  Can anyone shed some light on what I am missing?  I have the newest version of httpapi and I have loaded xmlextract.
