RE: Questions on Qshell
Thank you all for taking the time to answer my question. The reason behind it is I am able to create an XML file that can be opened as an Excel file but I want to give it to the user as a real XLS file. That's why I want to open my XML and re-save it as an XLS. I can do it manually so I thought there should be an automatic way to do the same.

Although not a xls format I found the following that talks about using unix tools to convert to csv.
