Re: What should we do with this list?

   Scott,
I think a web forum with various topics would be great.
There is some great content in this mailing list but it can be
   cumbersome to use.

   Hi folks,
I find myself wondering if, maybe, it'd be better for everyone if we
replaced this mailing list with a set of web forums. What do you think
   of this idea?
This would make it possible to divide the forum into different subject
areas, like we could have a discussion area for non-HTTPAPI web
services, a discussion area for FTPAPI, a discussion area for other
stuff I've published like IFS or HSSF/POI.
Obviously a lot of people would like to discuss other things besides
FTPAPI/HTTPAPI, and I wonder if that wouldn't be easier to manage?
Furthermore, I'm having trouble (technical problems) with this mailing
list software, and am thinking it'd be nice to replace it.
Please let me know your thoughts.

   Hi Giel,
The solution is to code a separate parameter as a 10i 0 that contains
the count of the number of elements in your array. Use this field
(instead of the number 100) as the size of your array. This can be
   selected in the drop down.
Having said that, this question isn't about FTPAPI/HTTPAPI, and I'd
   like
to try to maintain a focus on those topics on this mailing list. Many
people have shown an interest in discussing other topics besides
FTPAPI/HTTPAPI, and I wonder if we shouldn't consider branching out to
add other topics, too? I have posted another message with one approach
to doing that. I'd be interested in your opinion, if you would reply
   to
   that message.
   Anyway, hope that helps...
