I second Jon's suggestion.  Most forum software allows you to subscribe 
and that is my preference.  About 95% of the time I only read email 
(usually only scanning at that).  On rare occasions when I am looking 
for a solution to a problem I might go to a forum search and post.  But 
I much prefer email....
