What subcommand are you trying to execute?

We'd really need more info in order to know if what you're trying to do is supported.

I'm assuming that "qoute rcmd" below is a mis-spelling of the command, but if that's the string you used to try to
run a command, it will fail since it's spelled incorrectly.

On an IBM i of *one *of our customers I use the FTP-client, that comes with the OS400. If I try the use qoute rcmd, I recieve the message 502 command not implementet. This customer is on 6.1. The IBM i of others of our customers doesn't show this behavior.

Could it be a workaround to use the FTPAPI instead of the IBM-FTP-client?
