RE: PDF's on IFS

In Windows , the file has a .pdf extension, but the file is not recognized as a pdf (there's no Adobe icon). Double-clicking on the file does nothing. Checking its properties , shows nothing in attributes.

Example1 is pulling in the file. In my application, deciphering XML returned from http_url_post_xml, then base64_decoding the stream and writing to the file in /tmp.

I think I may be off somewhere in there.

Should I be i_conv-ing it from 1208 to 0 before or after decoding it?

What do you mean by "won't recognize my file"?

You can open PDFs from the IFS. One of the EXAMPLE programs downloads a PDF which Adobe Reader opens just fine.
