Thanks, and we still are. I'm struggling to understand how proxies, 
proxy ports, HTTP, and HTTPS work together at all, so don't be surprised 
if my questions reflect that.

My level of ignorance here is starting to remind me not only of the "For 
Dummies" books, but also of a whimsical, yet very good, FORTRAN IV 
textbook: "The FORTRAN Coloring Book."
