RE: Secure FTP



When you refer to 'Secure FTP', do you mean:

Secure File Transfer Program, 'sftp' on the command line, a true SSH File Transfer Protocol client from the OpenSSH project.

Then, the answer is no. However, FTPAPI has been modified for using SSL. See April 15 in the archives for latest comments on that.

Secure FTP also sometimes refers to tunneling FTP through an SSH connection. SSH has been run on the IBMi. See this post for more information: http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200609/msg01523.html It looks like these run in PASE so a script could be developed and run to do the transfer.

Also, assuming OpenSSH has source code in C, you could port the project to the IBM i!
