Since you said "partner", I assume that this is EDI?

If so, they probably want the data transmitted via AS3.  You may need to
look into an EDI product for this.

We have a new partner that wants data transferred via 'secure FTP'.

I found some early references to this topic in regards to FTPAPI not
having this function.

I was wondering if this function is in the current version of the tool?

And if not, what the best approach might be to implement this type of
transfer.

I'm happy using APIs on the iSeries if that's the best approach.
