I'm presuming this is a general list for all of Scott's Open Source
problems?
I have a problem with the xlpdemo program failing on this call:
40 if xlparse_workbook('/tmp/xlpdemo.xls':
41 %paddr('NUMBERCELL'):
42 %paddr('CHARCELL')) < 0;
43 msg = 'Error occurred while parsing spreadsheet.';
44 dsply msg ' ' wait;
45 endif;
When I debug & drill down the java method returning the error is:
ParseSheet_parse(Filename: StdOut: StdErr);
StdOut & StdErr seem well-formed:
/tmp/xlpdemo.xls
/tmp/PANTZOPOLM-MIDI9001A-014003-hssf-stdout.log
/tmp/PANTZOPOLM-MIDI9001A-014003-hssf-stderr.log
The /tmp/xlpdemo.xls has not been amended since the extraction from
the zip file and I can open it with Excel. It's got 20 rows of
ACMEWidgets data.
I'm on a JVM of 1.4
I'm using version 3.01 of POI.
There are no classpath failures as far as I can see. And the only
thing I've done different to the instructions is to place the jars
into another folder.
Any hints?
Thanks.
