Harry,
Sounds like you just want to configure your HTTP server to act as a reverse proxy for specific requests that does nothing with the request except forward it on to another http server.

I wanted to take an incoming IP packet and then send it out to another location, then take the replies and send them back to the original source.  Do you have an example that is close to this?
