Re: IFS folder listing



   If you CD '..' it will take set you back to the parent directory, Just
   like DOS used to.

   The IFS on the system i can accommodate three file systems, the IFS
   itself, Windows based file systems and Unix/Linux based file systems.
   In
   accomplishing this task, it must make itself compatible with those
   systems and why you see the DOS . and .. .

     I do agree, if you try from DOS you can see those directories. What
   it
     signifies, just trying to understand.
