Hi,

%alloc and alloc cannot allocate 40 MB of memory in one chunk because it is limited to 16 MB for one allocation. If you want to allocate more memory in one chunk then you would have to use teraspace.

I have need to send a 40MB XML document, although subsequent ones will be smaller. From EXAMPLE8 I see the use of a *USRSPC but that is limited to 16MB. I guess I can try %ALLOC or alloc unless someone has a better idea?
