Re: HTTPAPI vs. XML Toolkit



The xml toolkit does not provide you with the ability to consume web services afaik, it is just parser that can be called directly from rpg \ cobol (and not very attractive one either ..).

I think that in the last version ibm provides "web servie consumer" into the xmltoolkit it is based on the wsdl2c and it creates c++ stubs. I triedto use it, tell your managment it is a nightmare (combination of httpapi and wsdl2rpg is far better).
