Thanks Bryan,
I called the INSTALL program and specified that I wanted to build eXpat from the source code. I believe we have a working ILE C compiler. Not sure about the System Openness Includes library mentioned as a requirement. How can I verify that?

I think you want to install it with XML support, as per the error message...
"HTTPAPI was not built with XML support."
I don't know if you can do an install in place...you may need to reinstall it.
