Subject: How to properly encode characters in a Web Service XML requestmessage?

Hi,

For my WSDL2RPG utility I need to know, how to properly encode special characters such as the German
"Umlaute" (a, ö, ü) in the XML request message that is sent to the server.

Does someone know how to do that? I assume that I do not have to do something special when I parse the
response message with eXpat.

Regards,

Thomas.
