RE: Need Help with calling a .net web service
Chris,
Thanks for the reply.
I think we have a solution. Our dot net programmer was able to work
with the C program that got generated from the XML tool kit, and we
have been able to communicate with a test web service that he created
on a windows box on our network. It seems that this will work quite
nicely.
At some point in the future if we are having problems with this, I
will contact you to pick your brain.

I'd be more than happy to help Bob, we've just integrated HTTPAPI on
our AS400 for web services, took about 2 weeks to fathom it all out.

HELP !!!
I am an "old style" RPG programmer. We are attempting to call some
web
services from our legacy system, but are not having much success. We
have installed the XML toolkit and have been searching the web for
information on how to call web services from RPG. We have also talked
to
IBM software support but they don't seem to know much either.
We found the LIBHTTP and downloaded it. This seems like it might work
for us, but we are not sure what to do with it.
If anyone can help us or point us in the right direction we would be
very thankful.
