Re: SIZE Problem

Sender: Scott Klement <sk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

The problem has nothing to do with the SIZE message. You can safely ignore the SIZE message, it doesn't mean anything.

The problem is the other message you posted
"Invalid object type. (Make a savefile!)"

The file named 'FTBRPT' in /QDLS is not an object type that FTPAPI understands. Can you tell us what type of object that is?

The following "ftp_get"

if ftp_get(ftp: 'TST.FR01.P0XXREPT(+0)':
          '/QDLS/FTBRPT') < 0

Results in a "SIZE" error. My contact at the remote server says he's
never heard of a "SIZE" error. What am I missing here? Thanks for any
help.

0: 200 Representation type is Ascii NonPrint

0: 501 command aborted -- FTP server not configured for SIZE
DSPLY Invalid object type. (Make a savefile!)
