FTPAPI is a great tool that we use for automated transfers.  You will have to 'wrap' the API into your own programs, which I'm sure many have done on this list.

when the ftpapi.savf was putted to qgpl library  and i want to restore this savfile I received a message this isnt a savfile. What have i to do?

I would like to use this ftpapi for automated transfer for file from  and to AS400 to file server. It will be possible via this FTPAPI tool?
