I suppose you could if you were using IBM's FTP client. FTPAPI's name format is always 1, and doesn't currently have the ability to change it. LOCSITE doesn't exist in FTPAPI.


If you want to make the server use a different name format, you can use FTP_namfmt() to change the name format -- but that'll only affect the "peRemote" paths, it won't affect the local ones. The local ones are always in namefmt 1.
