Re: Host not found
Thanks Sean for the quick reply.
The client did a PING command and got back:
Which I guess explains the job log message.
Here is a screen shot of Option 12, CFGTCP command (the true values have been changed (for instance, HOST has a valid host name) to protect the client) :-):
Change TCP/IP Domain (CHGTCPDMN)
Type choices, press Enter.
Host name . . . . . . . . . . . 'HOST'
Domain name . . . . . . . . . . 'host.com'
Domain search list . . . . . . . *DFT
Host name search priority . . . *LOCAL &nbs!
p;
*REMOTE, *LOCAL, *SAME
Domain name server:
Internet address . . . . . . . '12.345.67.89'
Bottom
F3=Exit F4=Prompt F5=Refresh F10=Additional parameters F12=Cancel
F13=How to use this display F24=More keys
I'm have limited operator/admin knowledge and the client has limited experience with TCP/IP. Can you tell by the screen shot what is wrong, or can you please refer me to a user guide/redbook/article?
Thanks again for the help.
