RE: DCM - starting and stopping

Sender: "Ian Patterson" <ian@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Thanks Scott, all the work I've done was on V5R1, & I guess I was just
lucky.

After adding a CA cert & trusting it to a client, I simply ended the http
server (*admin) and left it at that.
No machines I have worked on use the http server, so I have not restarted it
after adding the CA.

Regards

Ian Patterson

I've started/stopped the HTTP server in order to restart DCM.

   ENDTCPSVR *HTTP
   (wait a while)
   STRTCPSVR *HTTP

On V4R5 I had a lot of problems with the DCM needing to be restarted. On
V5R2 (we skipped V5R1) I have not needed to restart anything.

It's one of those things -- if it works without restarting, great. If
not, try restarting :)
