Also, try to use the IP address instead of the host name in the ftpconn
statement.

If that works, then you need to fix up your DNS and/or host table
entries.    You can do that using menu CFGTCP (GO CFGTCP).  But if you
need help with that, better to post to midrange-l.

Hi,

My name is Al Klokow and I work at Midwest Bank & Trust Co. in Melrose
Park,
IL.  This is probably something simple that I have overlooked, but I
can't see
it.  I've downloaded and installed the FTP API on my AS/400, but can't
seem to
get the "TESTGET" program to run.  I keep getting "Host not Found".
I've been
around the 400 since it's inception but this FTP stuff is new to me, so
please
bear with me.  Thanks.
