the error was "file not loaded" or "doesn't exist" or some such - i pretty
much knew it wouldn't be.  I was just concerned about the SIZE being
rejected being a problem when I test it next week.

that was the wrong subject, an earlier question I was going to ask, but
figured out on my own.

seems this particular ftp server requires the directory name in a CWD (or
cd) requires quotes around it.   i.e.  'WRKINGDIR' instead of just
WRKINGDIR.

is this common?   funny thing is, it doesn't require if of the file name on
a get or put.   weird huh?
