Sorry for the worthless (to everyone but me...) email.

Am I posting to the mailing list?  trying a scattershot approach to
posting.

I didn't see anything in the 'welcome' emails to indicate where to post.

Also, is there an archives for the list?  I'm sure the questions I have
have been asked before.
